Red Balau

Red Balau offers a long lasting beauty without uneven wear or splitting. Red Balau also provides a durable and strong deck that adds the perfect amount of warm, rich color to your home. Red Balau is sourced from countries that are leaders in sustainable forestry practices.

Bridgetown Red Balau is a kiln-dried hardwood. Adequate air flow under the deck is essential. Kiln-dried deck boards will not shrink appreciably after installation. They will, however, expand during periods of high humidity or prolonged rainfall.

This select-harvested hardwood from Malaysia and Indonesia is twice as dense as Genuine Mahogany with less color variation than other hardwoods.

Bridgetown Red Balau can be finished and maintain a "furniture look", or allowed to weather to a silver gray.
